I passed this on to my friend in Alabama who also is passing it on.
Older dogs are already housebroke, dont chew and you CAN teach them new tricks. I always adopted older dogs. They learn the daily routine of the house easily.
Shepards can learn up to 700+ words thier so intelligent and great with children. Good watchdogs as well.

Update: Romeo and Juliet were placed for adoption as of 3:35PM 25 Feb., 2008, this according to email received from CCACA.
